SF Holding, the parent company of China's largest private express logistics firm SF Express, says it's planning a joint venture in Hong Kong with United Parcel Service (UPS) to develop and provide international delivery services.

中国最大的私营快递公司顺丰快递的母公司顺丰控股计划与UPS在香港成立一个合营公司以开拓发展国际运输业务。

SF Holding and UPS will each invest five million US dollars to get the project up and running. The joint venture will focus on cross-border trade involving B2B and B2C customers. The tie-up will initially provide an international delivery service from China to the US and eventually will include the rest of the world. The plan is still awaiting approval from the relevant watchdogs.
