Qomolangma and other nature reserves.Currently, the Podala Palace and the Mt. Qomolangma are famous among foreign tourists, and local officials hope the number of Tibet's grade 4-A naturel reserves on the national list can reach 12 by the year of 2015.According to statistics, the number of tourists visiting Tibet from home and abroad has reached 4 million in 2007, an increase of 60% from 2006. Tourism has become an important industry in Tibet. Local officials hope that Tibet hopes it can receive 6 million tourists by the year of 2010.
