When they bend to comfort their pet dogs or pick up something, their sensitive body parts can be clearly seen.Some other Chongqing citizens think it is not proper to wear only pajamas or sleeping robes in public places, especially not in front of kids. However, it has even become a custom for Chongqingers to go shopping in pajamas in summer.“We should respect others in public places, and I think improper clothes are signs of disrespect,” said Zhang, who lives on Renminzhilu Street.“At least they should put on formal clothes when they go to the city square, where there are usually a lot of travelers,” said Yu. “It’s everyone’s responsibility to give Chongqing a good name, and I don’t think going around in pajamas will help it.”
