Chinanews, Beijing, Aug 24 – Statistics show that in China, about 10%-15% of Chinese couples are unable to give birth to babies. One-third of the infertility cases are caused by the husband but most are related with the wife, the Beijing Times reported.At present, infertility has become a common disease in China and infertility incidence is always on the rise. The disease might be related with problems such as environmental pollution, smoking, late pregnancy, and nutrition disorder, which lead to obesity or weight loss. In addition, the side effects of medicines and drugs, heavy work pressure, repeated abortions, infection of the reproductive system and sex-related diseases will all contribute to infertility. As people get older, the possibility of infertility also increases.Information shows that for married women aged 30-34, one out of seven couples has encountered infertility problem. For married women aged 35-40, the infertility rate is up to 20%. For women aged 40-44, one out of every four couples have infertility problem.
