Chinanews, Beijing, August 9 – According to the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China (CAAC), since August 4, 2007, flight passengers to the US have been allowed to take lighters with them, as the Transportation Security Administration of the US announced.Ordinary lighters will pose no dangerto aircraft, but torch lighters that can spray an explosive flame as hot as 2,500 degrees centigrade, will remain prohibited to be brought aboard.Now the CAAC has notified airports and customs of its new decision, so the security check procedures will be altered to make sure that all the passengers to the US will travel conveniently.
