Chinanews, Beijing, July 30 – With tourism in Tibet reaching its peak season, the Ministry of Railways has decided to increase the number of trains running along the Qinghai-Tibet Railway from August 1. Of course, the train schedule will be temporarily adjusted, and tourists will have to plan their travels according to the adjusted schedule until October 20.In fact, the peak season started in the May Day holiday. These days, with the beginning of summer holidays, it is hard to get a train ticket to Tibet.The added trains will include N919/N920. Besides, the train route from Chengdu and Chongqing to Lhasa (T22/T23, T24/T21, T222/T223, T224/T221) will be divided into two parts, the first being from Chengdu/Chongqing to Xining, and the rest from Xining to Lhasa. Travelers to Tibet will need to change to another train in Xining.
