Chinanews, Guangzhou, Jul. 20 – According to the report of a survey launched by a Guangzhou public opinion research institute released on Tuesday, some 88% of respondents think hospitals in Guangzhou charge too high, 34% of them believe the charged fees are totally unbearable, and more than 40% of them think local hospitals provide bad service.More than 1,000 thousand citizens from all walks of life and 416 hospitalized patients in hospitals in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province responded to in the survey, of which only 11.5% of citizens and 21.6% of patients think hospital charges are “moderate”.The survey also finds that more than 80% of respondents think the “surgical operation fee”, “medicine charge” and “examination fee” are too high, and 60% of them think “registration fee” is also high.
