The woman left as soon as she found out the identity of the reporter.Another beggar girl was friendlier, She told the reporter that she often earned as much as a public servant in Nanjing. “This life is really easy, and I once begged in Shanghai, where the situation was similar to Nanjing,” said she proudly.
