Chinanews, Urumqi, December 12 – Several illegal mapping and surveying cases involving foreigners have been cracked in Xinjiang, with 14,200 maps confiscated.The first case after the implementation of the regulation on mapping and surveying by foreigners in China involved 4 suspects from Japan, which took place on last April 24. After that several similar cases were cracked, involving suspects from both home and abroad.
