Chinanews, Beijing, Sept. 29 – During the 1998 Goodwill Games held in New York, Sang Lan was seriously injured and was paralysed from the mid-chest down. After 10-month treatment in the U.S., she flew back to China to receive further operations.Currently she is struggling to learn to take care of herself in daily life. After Sang graduated from Peking University, she started working for Sina website and a journalist for the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG).Sang revealed that it’s no easy job to be a journalist is hard. She said she had endeavored to interview some athletes and judges during recent games. She hopes she can be a good journalist in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
