Chinanews, Jinan, Dec. 6 – Currently nature reserves in the Yellow River Delta, in Dongying of Shandong Province, have become birds’ paradises. Local government has taken various measures to protect migratory birds. According to statistics, the species of birds have increased from 167 to 283. And there are nearly 2.83 million migratory birds coming to the areas annually.Officials from the local government said that they had invested 2 billion yuan to protect the environmental conditions. The central government had also invested a large sum of money to improve the ecological system of the Yellow River.
