International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge presented invitation letters of 2008 Olympics to representatives of every National Olympic Committees at the Tiananmen Square in Beijing, while Beijing marks one-year countdown to the 2008 Olympic Games on Aug. 8, 2007. It is the first time the traditional IOC ceremony has been held in the host city of the Games rather than the IOC headquarters.
