Chinanews, Beijing, July 6 –Beijing Organizing Committee of Olympic Games launched a world-wide contest to select 10 “Olympic families”, which will be invited to Beijing this summer for an Olympic trip. Now, all ten of them have been selected. They are: Homenice, Olympic Love, the Family of Angels, A Warm Family and Five Olympic Lovers from China, BOCHAMDQ from Argentina, Go Hong Kong from South Africa, Greelink from Germany, Go to Beijing and USA 1776 from the US.All of them will be invited to Beijing on August 8, 2007, when there is one year to go before the opening of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Then they will visit the Olympic facilities in Beijing and the co-hosts of the Games.The contest was kicked off in last April, when more than 12,000 families from 62 countries and regions took part in the preliminary.“I believe the contest will bring an exciting experience to all of you, and even lead to fulfillment of your Olympic dreams,” commented Rogge, the president of International Olympics Committee.
