Chinanews, Beijing, September 19 – The coal oil production line of Shenhua Group has been 95% completed, and it will be put into trial production in 2008. It will be the first of its kind in the world, and one developed by China entirely on its own.It will consume 3.45 million tons of coal every year to produce 1.08 million tons of oil products.The construction of the production line was initiated in 2004, with a total investment of 10 billion yuan.It is estimated that by 2020, China will have the capacity of producing 50 million tons of coal oil every year.
