A cold rain mingled with the river

　　In the clear dawn I bid you farewell，

　　lonely as Ch'u Mountain.

　　My kinsfolk in Loyang，

　　should they ask about me，

　　Tell them： "My heart is a piece of ice

　　in a jade cup！"
