非洲猎龙（afrovenator）是和鲨齿龙一起发现的，长8-9米。非洲猎龙是身高达到八米的食肉恐龙，是一种大而灵巧的兽脚类恐龙,具有5厘米长的牙齿和带钩的锋利爪子.保罗先生和他的同事们在非洲撒哈拉沙漠发现了这种恐龙。它们的一些牙印还留在了未成年恐龙的肋骨上。
