简介(briefintroduction)

[a]卡昂市(decaen)地处法国诺曼底地区的沿海地带，这里的calcaire层富含海中贝类的石灰岩土，杂肋龙(poekilopleuron?valesdunensisallain,2002)就在这里被发现。这是有史以来最完整的巨齿龙科(megalosauridae)的头骨，不过由于特征尚不明确，该标本归属于杂肋龙还属可疑。

但是此次发现的意义却不止如此，该标本对兽脚类坚尾龙次亚目的系统分类-地理复原具有重要的作用。该具杂肋龙(p?.valesdunensis)与美扭椎龙(eustreptospondylus)及非洲猎龙(afrovenator)有密切的关系。最近，巨齿龙科(megalosauridae)已经与蛮龙(torvosaurus)合并起来。而巨齿龙科(蛮龙科)派生自棘龙超科(spinosauroidea)[今鸟亚纲+蛮龙]，而与之一起还有新坚尾龙类(neotetanurae)的姊妹群。但这两个系统分类迄今还只是假设，对肉食恐龙的主要扩散我们还不够了解。
