[a]2002年8月27日，中国ivpp张福成研究员等专家在naturwissenschaften(2002,89:394-398)上发表的论文描叙了一种生活在树上的虚骨龙类(coelurosauria)，并命名为树息龙(epidendrosaurus)[新属]。

但现在出现了学名有效性的争议，czerkas,s.a.,与c.yuan由另一块同属的标本发表的论文(在线论文)《feathereddinosaursandtheoriginoflight》描叙了擅攀鸟龙(scansoriopteryxheilmanni)的出版日期是8月1日，按命名优先原则，scansoriopteryx才是有效名。

但是张福成等专家反驳说擅攀鸟龙的研究人直到8月26-29日才向他们发送传真通报，因此不可能是在8月1日出版。最严重的是，擅攀鸟龙的标本来源不明，极可能是走私的标本，按照国际惯例，走私的标本是不能研究与发表的。
