Chinanews, Lhasa, September 18 – Liu Shaochuang of the Institute of the Remote Sensing Applications of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and fellow researchers confirmed the Jiangmeir Mountain of the Dangla (Tanggula) Mountains to be the source of the Nujiang River.Nujiang River, aka the Salween River, is one of the most important rivers in Asia.Liu is also a famous explorer, who have reached the North Pole on foot. He has also found out the exact length of the 10 longest rivers in the world.
