Chinanews, Urumqi, June 2 - According to the Aksu Oil-Natural Gas Administrative Commission, currently there are six large gas field groups with confirmed gas reserves of some 840 billion cubic meters in the Tarim Basin, which will be able to provide natural gas to 12 provinces and municipalities in east China for 30 years.Yingmaili Gas Field Group was put into operation earlier last January, and it has since provided at least 60 million cubic meters of gas to the east. It is estimated that there are 65.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas reserves in Yingmaili, not including the 26 million tons of crude oil here. The rest five gas field groups are Kelaer, Yaha, Jilake, Sangnan and Jinansi.Yingmaili, Kelaer, Yaha and Sangji alone will contribute 15 billion cubic meters of gas every year.
